Everyone makes the appropriate promise on joining the Scout Movement or moving on to a new section. 

Modified wording of each Promise is possible for people of various or no faith and for people who do not hold British citizenship. Talk with the Section Leader to get details.

CUB SCOUT PROMISE

I promise that I will do my best,

To do my duty to God and to the Queen,

To help other people

And to keep the Cub Scout Law

The Laws are simple codes of behaviour for members.
