BEAVERS, CUBS AND SCOUTS

We welcome any child who wishes to join us in the Scouting programme of fun, friends and adventure.

On joining, children become members of one of our Beaver, Cub, or Scout sections, depending on age. The link above gives contact information here as well as the evening that each section meets.

PLACES AVAILABLE NOW

While other sections may also have places now, the following have confirmed a few places are available NOW for new members. So contact to enquire as below:

AQUILA SCOUTS: Email for place now (over 10.5 years) or waiting list (under 10.5). Places available.

NAME DOWN FOR A PLACE

Otherwise, go to the District website (via external links page), who deal with waiting lists for all St Albans Scout Groups. Make sure you state that your interest is in the 18th St Albans, and if appropriate, the particular section.

PRIORITY FOR PLACES IN THE GROUP

We usually give priority in some cases, as below.

PARENTS HELP: We give considerable priority for children to join if a parent can help with weekly meetings as leader or helper. Details here.

SIBLINGS: We also give priority to siblings of current Group members. If there is already a sibling in the Group, make that clear on first contact.

MOVE INTO AREA: We try to give places to current Beavers, Cubs and Scouts who move into our area.
