INFORMATION FOR NEW MEMBERS   

This section has some of the information for new Group members. We hope that both your son or daughter and you will have a long and enjoyable association with our Scout Group. Our aim is to provide a high standard of Scouting for all our members, so that there is plenty of fun and challenge.

This web site includes  Information about the Group explaining matters to do with the whole Group and all its sections (Beavers, Cubs, Scouts). 

There is a section on Uniform. 

Probably the section leader gives a guide to the particular section that your son or daughter will be attending.

Members make a promise when they join the Group or move between sections. This is done during a short INVESTITURE ceremony. Each section has its own Promise and Law, shown here.

There is also a Membership Form (not currently on the web site) that we need to have completed before new members can begin officially in the Group, or current members can complete your transfer to your new Section.

In addition, we hope that you will complete and return the Gift Aid form so that we can claim back some tax from the taxman. THIS IN NOT A REQUEST FOR EXTRA MONEY FROM YOU.
