GROUP HOME PAGE

We have a purpose-built Group Headquarters, finished in 1999.  Our grounds back onto the Wick, an area of woodland and field ideal for outdoor Scouting.  It is used by all the sections, particularly during the summer.

We are located in Hall Heath Close in Marshalswick in the eastern part of St Albans, just off Sandpit Lane:  Locate us on this Ordnance Survey map.

The Wick woodland is now a Local Nature Reserve, and we often hear or see woodpeckers, owls, and many other woodland birds. We have placed bird boxes and bat boxes in the woods and done various conservation projects there.
